American Marksman Joe Bowman "The Straight Shooter" 50-Star American Flag and His Personal Shooting Exhibition Banner.Includes: 1) Joe's 4 feet x 6 feet, nylon, machine sewn U.S. flag manufactured by Capitol Flag Company, Houston, Texas. 2) Joe's "Straight Shooter" exhibition banner, yellow nylon background, with red, white and black nylon captions and decoration. Single sided, manufactured by Capitol Flag Company, Houston. Approximately 50 x 70-inches.
The banner reads: SHOOTING / EXHIBITION / THE STRAIGHT SHOOTER / JOE BOWMAN / PISTOLS RIFLES."
Joe Lee Bowman (1925-2009) was a keen marksman. He taught many Hollywood actors, including James Arness and Robert Duvall how to properly handle their pistols.
Condition: 1) Excellent. Some creases from storage and a few water stains. 2) Folding creases, three small cigarette burn holes, light soiling. Very good. From Joe Bowman "The Straight Shooter Collection".
