Colt Model 1860 Army Richards-Mason Conversion Single Action Revolver.

Serial no. 1858 [barrel, frame, triggerguard and butt], .44 caliber, 8-inch barrel with fixed front and rear sights. Blued and case-hardened finish. Top of barrel marked: ADDRESS COL. SAML COLT NEW YORK U.S. AMERICA. Etched cylinder scene. Left side of brass triggerguard stamped C and .44 CAL. Smooth walnut one-piece grip. Manufactured in 1860.

Condition: Very good. Finish primarily a dark grey patina with signs of handling wear, age and patches of pitting. Noticeable dings and scuffs present to wood, with some loss at corners. Large crack through left side of grip. Action good. Moderately pitted bore.
