Description
Colt Frontier Six Shooter Single Action Revolver with Holster.Serial no. 121200 [frame, triggerguard and butt], .44 caliber, 4-inch barrel with fixed front sight and frame notch rear sight. Blued and case-hardened finish. Three-line, three-date patent to left side of frame. Triggerbow stamped .44 C.F. Rampant Colt / E. Pluribus Unum Eagle checkered grips with a few notches. Manufactured in 1887. Sold along with an Al Furstnow quick draw holster.
Condition: Good. Finish primarily a smooth grey patina with scattered areas of handling wear, age and patches of pitting. Scuffs dings and notches present to grips. Cracks to each panel. Action functions. Moderately pitted bore. Leather showing honest age wear. Nelson A. Faerber Collection.
