Description
Smith & Wesson Model 2 Single Action Revolver.Serial no. 12280 (frame? and right grip panel), .32 rimfire caliber, 6-inch ribbed/octagonal barrel with round blade front sight. Springfield address. Crisp patent markings to cylinder. Blued finish. Rosewood grips.
Condition: Good to very good. Original serial number is partially visible due to heavy scratches. 12280 has been hand scratched at this location. Retaining approximately 5-10% blue mostly on the cylinder, the balance a very smooth and thin gray-blue patina. Top rib with light pitting. Hinge screw marred. Grips are fine with losses to left panel at the butt. Action tight.
