Description
Smith & Wesson No. 3 Second Model Single Action Revolver.Serial no. 15481 [butt], .44 caliber, 8-inch ribbed barrel with fixed front and rear sights. Blued finish. Case-hardened hammer and trigger. Smith & Wesson address and four patent dates to top of barrel. Smooth walnut grip panels.
Condition: Very good. Retaining traces of finish in protected areas, the balance a dark grey patina with signs of age, handling wear and patches of pitting. Scattered scuffs and dings present to wood. Action good. Lightly pitted bore.
