Colt Model 1851 Navy Single Action Revolver.

Serial no. 138257 [barrel, frame, triggerguard and butt], .36 caliber, 7 1/2-inch octagonal barrel with fixed front sight. Blued and case-hardened finish. Brass triggerguard and backstrap. Smooth walnut one-piece grip. Manufactured in 1863.

Condition: Fair to good. Finish a dark grey patina with heavy signs of wear and surface rust. Scuffs, dings and shrinkage present to wood. Five nipples absent. Action not working. Pitted bore.
