Description
L. Pomeroy 1809 Full-Stock Flintlock Rifle.Unserialized, .69 caliber, 42-inch barrel with fixed front sight. Left side of barrel stamped: P M / S.N.Y. S.J. 1809. Lock marked: L. POMEROY. Smooth hard wood full-stock with no barrel bands. Metal ramrod, triggerguard and buttplate.
Condition: Very good. Finish primarily a dark grey patina with scattered areas of handling wear and patches of pitting. Dings, scuffs and bruising present to wood. Action functions. Pitted bore. From the Collection of Dr. Phillip R. Rutherford
