Cased & Inscribed Colt Model 1860 Army Single Action Revolver.

Serial no. 1366 [barrel, frame, triggerguard, cylinder and butt], .44 caliber, 8-inch barrel with fixed front sight. Six-shot full fluted cylinder. Blued and case-hardened finish. Backstrap inscribed: LIEUT. COL. H.J. KILPATRICK / 2ND NEW YORK CAVALRY. Brass triggerguard. Smooth walnut one-piece grip. Manufactured in 1860. Contained in fitted wooden display case with maroon felt lining, cap tin, powder flask and bullet mold.

Condition: Very good. Finish primarily a smooth grey patina with scattered signs of handling wear and patches of pitting. Noticeable dings, scuffs and bruising present to wood. Action tight, but functions. Lightly pitted bore. Case showing storage wear.
