Description
Carved & Engraved German Full-Stock Percussion Rifle.Unserialized, approximately .69 caliber, 34-inch octagonal damascus barrel with fixed front and rear sights. Elaborately scroll engraved lock, hammer, upper tang and silver-plated triggerguard. Hardwood full-stock with extensively carved dragonhead to base of stock. Finely checkered wrist and forearm. Hinged patchbox to left side of stock. Engraved silver-plated buttplate. Metal ramrod.
Condition: Very good. Overall showing honest handling wear and fine patches of pitting. Scattered scuffs, dings and bruising present to wood.
