Description
Rare German 27 Code 1939 Bolt Action Sniper Rifle with Telescopic Sight With Waffen SS Markings.Serial no. 2913 [barrel, receiver and bolt], 8mm caliber, 24 1/2-inch barrel with fixed front sight and folding rear ladder sight. Blued finish. Breech marked: 27 / 1939. Various German proof marks including death head's stamp behind pistol grip and scope. Smooth hardwood pistolgrip stock. Metal buttplate. Dienstglas telescopic sight in Weihrauch mount and SS markings.
Condition: Good. Retaining approximately 94-96% finish with light handling wear and very fine spots of pitting. Noticeable scuffs, dings and bruising present to wood. Action crisp. Mirror bright bore. From the Estate of the late Hiroshi Harada of Piedmont, California.
