Description
Colt 1878 Frontier Six Shooter Double Action Revolver.Serial no. 25522, .44 caliber, 7 1/2-inch barrel with fixed front sight and frame notch rear sight. Blued finish. Case-hardened hammer and trigger. Checkered hard rubber grip panels with carved Rampant Colt logo. Manufactured in 1890.
Condition: Very good. Retaining approximately 5-10% finish with noticeable signs of age, handling wear and patches of pitting. Heavy dings and scuffs to grips. Hammer has been filed down. Action good. Lightly pitted bore.
