British Tower Sea Service Flintlock Pistol.

Unserialized, approximately .68 caliber, 9-inch barrel. Lock marked: TOWER and (crown) / GR. Smooth hardwood stock with brass triggerguard, grip cap and brass-tipped ramrod. "Tower" refers to the Tower of London Armouries, the British governmental facility responsible for producing or inspecting many military arms for the British Crown. "Sea Service" (or "Long Sea Service") pistols were a class of flintlock pistols used by the Royal Navy, particularly aboard ships - for boarding actions, naval officers, and maritime duties.

Condition: Good. Overall showing noticeable signs of handling wear, age and surface rust. Noticeable cracks, dings and bruises present to wood. Loss of wood along forearm. Action tight, but functions. Lightly pitted bore.
