Description

European Sword-Rapier With Unknown Hallmarks, Circa 19th Century.
41-inch straight double-sided blade with three crude fullers extending to 10-inches below the ricasso. 1 ½-inch wide blade. Unknown maker's mark on either side of the ricasso. Light, crude engraving around the fullers. "Reina" etched on the obverse side of the blade. Multiple curved quillons and wire bound grip. Round pommel.

Condition: Very good. Some thin dark areas of aging on the bright blade with light surface rust on the ricasso.
