Description
WWII Japanese Non-Commissioned Officer's Sword. 28-inch slightly curved blade with single fuller and temper line. Standard pattern brass hilt, the guard pierced with cherry blossoms with single bar knucklebow. Wire-wrapped black leather ribbed grip with brass backedge plate with raised images of chrysanthemums and florals. Contained in original gold-finished scabbard with single ring mount.Condition: Good to very good with age wear and patina. Scabbard with heavy wear and scattered frosting overall.
