Description

William F. "Buffalo Bill" Cody: Three Artifacts. This lot includes a Stacy cabinet card of "Col. W. F. Cody. 'Buffalo Bill.'" (a bold image with two creases in the top third), an envelope postmarked August 1888 and addressed in Buffalo Bill's hand to: "Nate Salisbury Esq. Manager Buffalo Bill's Wild West. Paris France" and a 1912 eight-panel foldout postcard with scenes from "Buffalo Bill's Wild West [and] Pawnee Bill's Far East" show addressed to the National Printing Company in Chicago (complete, but with wear and repaired separation at folds).
