Description
A Group Lot of 50 Federal Land Grants For Dakota Territory and After Statehood. In a variety of styles, seven from the administration of Theodore Roosevelt, and the balance from that of Benjamin Harrison. Each bears a secretarial signature of the president, and has wonderful "period flavor" for display. Overall in excellent condition. The Harrison examples are horizontal in format, and measure 16" x 10". The Roosevelts are both vertical and horizontal formats, but are approximately the same size. A few of the Roosevelts just have embossed seals such as that applied by a notary, but most of the grants have a colorful seal of the Federal Land Office affixed. A good dealer's lot.Auction Info
