Description
Flags: Civil War-Era 36-Star Flag. This 36-star flag (1864-1867) measures an imposing 17'6" x 9'6". It has a stencil "23" on the hoist. It is all hand-stitched. There are hand-stitched stars on both sides. Outside of some minor repairs, it is in exceptional condition. The pattern of the stars is a conventional series of rows.
