Description
Gerald Ford: Silver "Buck Starts Here" Presentation Cup. 2.25" six-sided, silver cup (possibly for pens or cigarettes) manufactured by Fisher. One side has a 25-cent coin welded on with an engraved inscription: "To The President Happy 1976 Tex". The other side has an Eisenhower dollar welded on with an engraved inscription: "This Buck Starts Here" (in contrast to Harry Truman's famous desk accessory that declared "The Buck Stops Here"). A neat piece! This cup is sitting on the desk in this Oval Office photograph. Proceeds of this auction will be used for the new Student Learning Center being developed by the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Foundation. This lot will be accompanied by a letter of authenticity signed by Steve Ford.Auction Info
