Carolina Singers: African American Choral Group CDV. Carte-de-visite of the eight members of the Carolina Singers, a group comparable to the Jubilee Singers of Fisk University, who toured in the 1870's. Backmark of Bogardus of New York. A note indicates this CDV may have been produced to advertise their appearance at Odd Fellows' Hall in Harrisburg on May 26, 1873. Excellent condition.Auction Info
