Publisher's full blue cloth, boards double-ruled in gilt and decoratively stamped in gilt, spine ruled and lettered in gilt, original brown-coated endleaves, all edges gilt. Spine toned and worn, binding extremities worn, hinges cracking, text shaken. Library (W. H. Smith & Sons Subscription Library) bookplate on front pastedown, binder's tag on rear pastedown. Fair.
