Three octavo volumes. Finely bound by Morrell in contemporary full speckled calf, boards decoratively ruled in gilt, elaborately gilt-decorated spines, burgundy and green gilt morocco spine labels, gilt board edges and turn-ins, marbled endpapers, top edge gilt. Very minor rubbing, some occasional foxing in text. A fine set of one of the most famous biographies ever written.
