Ink Drawing of an Unused Illustration, Signed in Full by Garth Williams
Garth Williams. Unused illustration, Charlotte's Web.Garth Williams. Original preliminary drawings for an unused illustration in Charlotte's Web, 1952: the goslings have arrived (page 44). Three sheets, including one drawing in ink on paper measuring 8.375 x 10.5 inches, and two drawings in pencil on paper measuring 10.875 x 8.5 inches. The ink drawing is signed in full by Williams with his notation "The goslings are born"; the pencil drawings are each initialed by Williams at the lower right. A couple of shallow folds. All fine. From the Estate of Garth Williams.
