Garth Williams. Illustration #32, Charlotte's Web.Garth Williams. Original preliminary drawings for illustration #32 (appearing on page 121) of Charlotte's Web, 1952: Mrs. Zuckerman gives Wilbur a buttermilk bath as Mr. Zuckerman watches. Pencil on paper. Five sheets: three on tracing paper measuring 8.5 x 11 inches, one on heavier drawing paper measuring 10.875 x 8.5 inches, and one on even heavier stock measuring 10 x 10.5 inches. Each initialed by Williams at lower right. Small nick to bottom edge of one sheet, and a couple of shallow folds. All generally fine. From the Estate of Garth Williams.
