London: William Heinemann, 1912.Limited to 1,450 copies, of which this is number 833, signed by Arthur Rackham. Large quarto. xxix, [1, blank], 223, [1] pages. Thirteen color plates mounted on heavy brown paper, with descriptive tissue guards, and fifty-three drawings in black and white (nineteen of which are full-page).
Bound by The Chelsea Bindery in full green morocco. Front cover pictorially stamped and lettered in gilt to match the original cover design, spine lettered in gilt with raised bands, board edges ruled in gilt, turn-ins decoratively tooled in gilt, top edge gilt, others uncut, marbled endpapers. Previous owner's neat contemporary gift inscription on half-title in ink. A fine copy.
