First thus, limited to 50 copies of which this is number 24 and with an original drawing by Alexander King called for on limitation page. Original color drawing is signed by King and bound after second free endpaper. Though uncalled for on limitation page, there is an additional loose drawing included. This drawing is one of the 18 plates reproduced in the book, this being Bend the Bough Gently or It Will Break, facing page 34. Measures 8.25 inches by 11 inches and displayed inside lid of publisher's box. Octavo. 301 pages. 18 plates.

Publisher's three-quarter rust morocco with marbled cloth boards. Brown morocco spine labels and onlay with gilt titles and decoration. Top edge gilt with remaining edges untrimmed. Lightly rubbed and darkened with a small chip to crown. Modest foxing to fore-edge. Offsetting to endpapers from leather. Mildly toned pages. Loose drawing has several tears that have been reinforced with tape on rear. All contents housed in publisher's clamshell box with quarter rust morocco backstrip. A very good copy.
