First French edition, first issue with errata leaves. Two octavo volumes. xxiv, [4], 422, [2]; [8], 400, [2] pages. Text in French.

Contemporary quarter calf with rust paper boards. Gilt decoration on backstrip and leather spine label with gilt titles. All page edges stained red. Rubbed and scuffed with splitting joints. Volume I with cracked front hinge and lacking half-title. Pages mildly toned with light scattered foxing throughout. A very good set.
