Description
Francis II, Holy Roman Emperor, Document Signed "Franz II." Four integral pages, 8.25" x 13.25", in German (not translated), April 9, 1801. Francis II, the last Holy Roman Emperor (1792-1806), reigned as Emperor Francis I of Austria (1804-1835). The document bears a small red wax seal with the embossed arms of Francis as Emperor. Part of the document, perhaps docketing, has been excised. The document has folds and some soiling with two stamps from a previous collection.Auction Info
