Description
Andrew Jackson Land Grant Signed as president. One partially printed page, on vellum, 15.5" x 9.75", Washington, November 16, 1830, granting "...Jacob Barron of Dallas County...the West half of the South West quarter of Section Thirty...for sale at Cahaba, Alabama, containing Seventy nine acres and Ninety hundredths of an Acre..." Blind embossed paper seal of the Land Grant Office attached. Jackson's signature is very large, though faded slightly in the middle. Staining at the upper edge in the center and at the upper right corner. Similar staining at lower left edge and partially over Jackson's name, though the signature is still legible. Small holes along the left vertical fold, but not affecting the text.Auction Info
