Description
Harry S. Truman and Cabinet Inscribed Photograph Signed. Measuring 13.25" x 10.75", this January 9, 1948, photograph depicts President Harry S. Truman and his cabinet in the Cabinet Room of the White House. An affixed card at left transmits the photograph to John Snyder on February 18, 1948, with a short note (initialed by Truman) reading: "Here's your picture all fixed up." Truman signs his full name under his likeness with additional signatures by: John R. Steelman, Philip B. Fleming, William Averell Harriman, Julius A. Krug, Lewis B. Schwellenbach, Clinton P. Anderson, Jesse M. Donaldson, James V. Forrestal, George C. Marshall, John W. Snyder, and J. Howard McGrath.Auction Info
