**28 Gauge Ferlib Model VII SC Boxlock Ejector Double Barrel Shotgun. Serial no. 33440. 28 gauge. 26-inch barrels marked: Model VII SC with gold engraved birds / W. L. Moore & Co. Westlake Village, CA. / Libero-Ferraglio- Ferlib- Italy. Matted concave rib. Coin finished boxlock action engraved with foliate scroll and game scenes with the birds in gold: Left side: Three ducks in flight, right side: 3 grouse in flight and floorplate: a duck landing. Engraving signed by E. Varini. Ejectors. Non-automatic safety. Single non selective trigger. Finely checkered straight grip stock of contrasting figured walnut with 1/2 inch thick recoil pad. Drop points. Vacant oval. Finely checkered semi-beavertail fore-end with Anson release.Data: Barrel Dimensions: Bores: 0.561/0.561 inches. Chokes: 0.009/0.019 inches (Improved Cylinder/Improved Modified). Chamber: 2 3/4 inches. Proof: Italian, Nitro, 14.2/ 14.2, Cam 28. Stock Dimensions: Pull: 14 1/4 inches. Drop at comb: 1 3/8 inches. Drop at heel: 2 1/4 inches. Cast-off: 1/8 inches. Weight: 5 pounds 9 ounces.
Condition: Excellent, showing limited use. Barrels show 98% bluing with a few light marks mostly under the fore-end. Bright clean bores. Stock shows an area of very light scratches to the finish on the right side near the butt.
