Description
Civil War cavalry carbine sling and Indian Wars carbine boot. Both pieces in excellent condition with minimal crazing and no flaking, very sound and supple. Carbine sling is full-length with original buckle and brass tip, along with the steel carbine snap swivel. The only mark visible are the numerals "4 6". The black bridle leather carbine boot is marked "Rock Island Arsenal" along with "Co. E " (illegible but probably Cav.). Retains all original attachment straps. Two very nice pieces of US regulation issue cavalry equipment.Auction Info
