Description

Colt Model 1902 Sporting Semi-Automatic Pistol. Serial no. 8005, .38 caliber, 6-inch barrel with fixed sights. Blued finish with checkered hard rubber grips with Rampant Colt. Case-hardened round hammer. Marked on left side of slide: BROWNING'S PATENT / APRIL 20, 1897 - SEPT. 9 1902. Nickel-plated magazine with 1884 patent date. Manufactured in 1905.
Condition: Very good as partially refinished. Retaining approximately 60-70% finish with balance turning a gray patina. Slide appears to have a period refinish. Magazine with flaking to finish and scratches. Grips are very good with light dings and scratches. Action crisp. Bore is very good.
