Engraved Colt Model 1878 Double Action Revolver. Serial no. 10762, .44-40 caliber, 7 ½-inch barrel with single-line Hartford address. Factory Rampant Colt hard rubber bird's head grips. Condition: Fair. Metal showing age wear and patina overall with some areas of heavy pitting present. Traces of blue in cylinder flutes. Cylinder pin marred. Grips showing heavy wear. Triggerguard bent. Lanyard ring removed. Action needs adjustment.Auction Info
