(Philadelphia: Mitchell & Hinman, 1836), 78 pages, 24mo (3.25" x 5.25"), dark green patterned leather covers with gilt title decoration, marble endpapers, fold-out hand-colored map of the United States circa 1836 measuring 21.5" x 17.75" tipped-in on inside back cover. This map is one of the first to label Texas as such instead of Mexico. The guide is in very good condition with a water stain on the top right edge of the pages. The map is in very good condition, the colors remain bright with only a few instances of tears along the folds.
