Description
Butterfield Army Model .41 Caliber Revolver: Only 640 Made. This Butterfield Arms .41 caliber five-shot pistol was patented on December 11, 1853 and likely saw service in the Civil War. This revolver has a 7" octagonal barrel and retains much of its original finish. Made in Philadelphia, the serial number is 334 which matches on the grip and barrel. It is one of only 640 of this model made by the company. This is a fine example of a rare Civil War revolver.Auction Info
