Colonel Buzz Aldrin, United States Air Force, Flyer's Summer Coveralls. Worn by Aldrin at a reunion of the 22nd Fighter Squadron, a unit where he flew F-100 Super Sabres as a flight commander. During Aldrin's service, the unit was stationed at Bitburg, Germany. The size 42 regular uniform has stitched colonel's rank patches on each shoulder. It also has Velcro backed patches from: the 22nd Squadron; U.S. Air Forces In Europe; 52nd Fighter Wing; and, Aldrin's embroidered red name patch with "Stingers" and the Air Force Command Astronaut Badge. The measurements are: across the shoulders, 20"; outer sleeve length, 23"; and, leg inseam, 29". This uniform is in excellent condition. From the personal collection of Dr. Buzz Aldrin and accompanied by a signed Letter of Authenticity from him.
