Description

Archive of Material from Buzz Aldrin's 1984 Presentation on Trans-Lunar-Rendezvous Evolution, With Information Form in Aldrin's Handwriting. All measuring 8.5" x 11", stored in clear protective sleeves. Information form filled out by Aldrin, with his name, affiliation, and address printed by him at the bottom. He was working for RECON at the time, and presented on behalf of them at the 1984 Lunar Bases and Space Activities in the 21st Century Symposium in Washington, D.C. The presentation focused on Aldrin's work in Trans-Lunar-Rendezvous, an idea he had been working on since his days as a doctoral student at MIT. In fact, all but two of the transparencies are labeled "Dr. Buzz Aldrin Sc.D. MIT '63 RECON" at the top right corner. The archive also contains two hand-annotated pages in colored markers and nine transparencies pertinent to Dr. Aldrin's presentation. Three of the transparencies are hand-annotated by Aldrin, as well, in blue, red, and green markers. A fascinating archive from Buzz Aldrin's personal files. From the personal collection of Dr. Buzz Aldrin and accompanied by a signed Letter of Authenticity from him.
