Description
Apollo 11 Space Flown Texas State Flag. 4" x 6" silk flag with a certificate reading in part: " This Flag Traveled To The Moon With Apollo 11, The First Manned Lunar Landing, July 20, 1969.". The certificate bears the last names of all three astronauts and the words Armstrong spoke when stepping on the moon's surface. Boldly signed in ink "Buzz Aldrin" appears near the bottom of the certificate. The flag was never affixed to the certificate. Both pieces are in mint condition. From the personal collection of Dr. Buzz Aldrin and accompanied by a signed Letter of Authenticity from him.Auction Info
