Description

Bell & Everett: 1860 Ferrotype Ribbon. If you are in the market for a John Bell centerpiece, then this is the item for you. The ferrotype is suspended from a crossed cannon hanger. The Bell image has very tiny light edge flaking at 4:00 mentioned for total accuracy. The Everett has a small semi-circular piece missing at 6:00. Both images are bright and clear. The ferro is pinned on a 2" x 6.75" silk ribbon bearing Ms. Liberty with "The Union" above and "The Constitution" below. Once you lay eyes on this showy piece and consider it has survived 147 years in such outstanding condition, it gains even more respect. From the John Harris Collection.
