Description
Marlin Model 1897 Lever Action Rifle. Serial no. HS3332, .22 cal., 24-inch octagonal blued barrel with dovetail front and buckhorn rear sights. Case-hardened frame and lever. Smooth walnut stock with pistolgrip and shotgun butt. Factory hard rubber butt pad.Condition: Very good. Retaining approximately 90-95% blue with losses to relief edges. Barrel has been tapped twice for pairs of screws; one pair in the middle of the maker's address.
