Description
Winchester Third Model 1873 Lever Action Rifle. Serial no. 187144B, .44-40 caliber, 26-inch octagonal barrel with dovetailed front sight and elevation rear sight. Walnut stock and fore-end. Crescent buttplate with cleaning rod reservoir in butt.Condition: Good. Metal appears to have been mechanically cleaned showing grey age patina and slight traces of blue finish in protected areas. Minor scattered pitting and surface spotting present. Wood with minor marks and bruises. Action good. Bore appears good with some wear present.
