Social Activist Julia Ward Howe Signed Card. 3.5" x 2". Howe (1819-1910), an abolitionist and poet best-remembered today for writing the poem, The Battle Hymn of the Republic, signed her name to this card on February 13, 1877. Very light foxing spots; mounting remnants on the verso, else fine.
