Local", red October 31 (1874) date stamp and corresponding red cork cancels tie 3¢ Bank Note (#158) on Washington D.C. locally carried cover, the cover with red October 31 (1PM) transit and (7PM) receiver marks on the reverse, neatly opened along the top and partially down the left, and reduced by approx. 10mm on the right, includes two page letter on "J.Daniels Attorney and Counsellor-at-Law" letterhead, Fine to Very Fine.Estimate $100+
