Mercury-Atlas 6 (Friendship 7) and Apollo 8 Vintage Flight Recordings. A nostalgic pair of vintage space-age record albums commemorating two of the most celebrated milestones of the American space program. As follows.
"GO! Colonel Glenn in Orbit.": A period 33⅓ RPM commemorative record album documenting the historic February 20, 1962 orbital flight of Lieutenant Colonel John H. Glenn, Jr., aboard Friendship 7.
"APOLLO 8 Man's First Journey to the Moon.": A vintage commemorative album celebrating the first crewed flight to orbit the Moon in December 1968.
Included are vintage NASA prints depicting mission preparations, as well as a CD of the Glenn recording. Age and handling related wear, overall good.
