Jack Frassanito (born July 8, 1941) is an American industrial designer whose career has been closely tied to the U.S. space program. After studying at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena and graduating in 1968, he worked at Raymond Loewy's firm where he helped design the interior of the Skylab space station. He then co-invented the Datapoint 2200, one of the earliest personal computers, while at the Computer Terminal Corporation. In 1975, Frassanito started his own firm in San Antonio, later moving it to Houston to work with NASA on projects like the Space Station Freedom. His most significant contributions have been the computer animations and simulations he has created for NASA to visualize future spacecraft and missions.
