Charles L. Black, Jr., was a renowned scholar of U.S. constitutional law. He taught at both Columbia and Yale law schools and is perhaps most well-known for working with Justice Thurgood Marshall to write the winning brief on the landmark case Supreme Court case, Brown v. Board of Education.
