This beautiful American Flag painting was created for this event by renowned artist Hahn Tran. Her paintings have brought $50,000+ in private sales and charity events.
This flag will be signed by our 6 Wounded Warrior Honorees who are receiving homes through HelpingaHero.org and our Special Guests including Co-Chairs Roger Staubach and Miss Texas USA Ali Nugent, Golfing legend--David Feherty, U.S. Senator Ted Cruz, Extreme Makeover Home Edition's Paige Hemmis, and Taya Kyle.

HelpingaHero.org is a 501(c)(3) non profit, non-partisan organization providing support for military personnel, severely injured in the war on terror. Our principal activity is to provide specially adapted homes for qualifying service members as well as engaging the community to provide services and resources for our wounded heroes and their families.
To date we have awarded 90 homes in 21 states.
Our goal is to provide our wounded heroes with a home fully adapted to their special needs. Homes have been built for heroes who are paraplegics, quadriplegics, amputees (single, double, triple, double arm, single arm), burn victims and heroes with severe traumatic brain injury and severe post traumatic stress disorder.
Some of the adaptations for our wheelchair bound recipients include wider doors, lower countertops, roll under sink, roll in shower, tile/wood floors throughout the home, etc...and we place these homes in master planned communities where they receive ongoing support from neighbors. HelpingaHero.org has an emergency needs fund and a large recreation program that enables our heroes to get out of the hospital and go hunting, fishing, attend rodeos, trail rides, BBQ's, etc....In 2013 we will host "Caregiver Retreats" and "Marriage Retreats" as we recognize the stress on our heroes and their families. Providing families with the tools to walk through the tough times and to receive peer to peer support is crucial for their lifetime recovery and success.
