Description

Pair of Civil War Brass Spurs Very Likely of Confederate Manufacture and Use. Sturdily made but exhibiting some minor casting/finishing flaws typical of Confederate products. Most notably the boot strap slots are configured identically to spurs known to have been manufactured by Leech & Rigdon of Memphis, Tennessee. Dramatically different than the configuration seen on US spurs. Rosette/star cut iron rowels, 1¼" across the points. Perfect untouched/uncleaned condition. Very desirable form.
