An Interesting Lot of Civil War Period Ammunition. An open box of Poultney's Galager cartridges retaining four of the original cartridges. A paper wrapped .58 cal. cleaner ctg., a .69 cal. Buck and ball ctg., a .58 cal. Paper wrapped ctg. (damaged), two Billinghurst-Requa brass ctgs., an unidentified carbine ctg. A paper wrapped pack of musket caps, a very rare .69 cal. triangular base French Minie' ctg., a Sharps ring tail ctg., and an approximately .60 cal. Round ball pin fire with the base of the copper primer/ pin case embossed in relief Le Faucheaux ...Vielot" and the actual case made out of lacquered newspaper. Great group.Auction Info
