Very Scarce Confederate Rifled 18-Pdr Tennessee-Sabot Shell in Excellent, Complete Non-Dug Condition, Possibly an Early Battlefield Pick Up. 10¼" overall, with remains of an old white paint ID on the nose. Heavy coat of dark dry surface rust but excellent with threads in the fuze aperture perfect. Retains the original base plate/ sabot and bolt. A very desirable and seldom seen Confederate artillery projectile.Auction Info
